CHARLES WELL BREWERY. PITCH WIN

At Laing Henry we pitched for and won Charles Wells. They ran the pitch work. Because of the limited budget the big idea was to use chalk across everything . 48 sheets, ambient and trade press providing a strong graphic brand id.

When I was at WMGO I noticed a pub in Greek street had guest beers chalked on blackboards this formed the look and feel the brewery bought into. I produced all the chalk illustrations (red chalk wouldn't show up so I used lipstick).

The 96 sheet ambient press stunt took three days to complete, lucky for us and for the real life landlord involved it didn’t rain. The chalk idea was also used to advertise other Charles Wells beers.   Agency / Laing Henry
