Persil Press stunt

Remember the graphic Benetton posters? One featured the heavily blood soaked uniform of a dead Croat soldier. The idea involved Persil buying space next to every Benetton poster. Presented but Persil weren’t brave enough.

The poster won a Bronze Creative Circle for Best Ad that Never Appeared but we would have been happier if it ran instead.

Could it have sold more washing powder? I doubt it but who cares?
