Off the back of the public disdain towards the very graphic Benetton poster campaign of 1996, this idea involved posting a Persil 48 sheet next to Benetton 48 sheet.

It was presented but Persil weren’t brave enough. The poster went on to win a Bronze Creative Circle for Best Ad that Never Appeared.  Agency / TBWA


The outstanding thing about this campaign is that in washing powder advertising of all things

- normally the epitome of unimaginativeness - it takes a step which is even more daring than Benetton.
